There may be conditions where the control module won’t send power to the window. The control unit or controller will only send power to the window motor if certain pre-programmed conditions are met. Modern cars handle it a little differently – pressing a switch sends a signal through a wire to a control unit (computer), which in turn sends power to the window motor.
